Thank you for your help. :D But.....What is "PM?" I am sorry. I spell the wood's name wrong. Actually, balsa and bass are common woods that are used to build the model. I bought some bass wooda whoch are harder than balsa wood. But, I don't know what these woods' name in Chinese. My model is kind of small. Now, I finished my study model in chipboard. However, my professor requires that I have to use wood, form core, or museum board (more nice materials) to build the model. He also require that the model must have clean, nice edges... :( My model's size is about 41/8" x 41/8," (floor plan) and the base is 8'-1/2" x 8'-1/2." I am soory that I have no scanner (Actually, I don't know how to use school's scanner.... :$ ), I cannot scan and post my design. I don't know how to discrible my design, but I think that the difficult parts are these arches and half circle. Because my model is small, these curve walls are small and difficult to bent. I am struggled with these parts.

Yes. I bought some bass woods for this model, but I don't know how I can bent them without breaking them. Use water??? I never thought about this way... But, I am sure that I have enough time to bent them in the way that you recommand. Also, I have no clamps or clips. Book store is closed on Sunday.... No bus on Sunday... soooo sad... :(( I think that I have to wait until tomorrow and go to bookie (book store) and get these stuff...

Thank both of you for your helps and suggestions. :) Now, I will use my super, powerful hands to bent these stupied bass woods first. Then, I will see how far I can finish my final model. Actually, I have one history exam and two more models (study and final models) that are due on Monday... Then, I have another architectural exam, Maya project, and these models due on Tue... [:ohoh03] Now, I am going to studio and fight with my model again, and I have no time to study my exams... :(( Good luck to me! [:yayaya]

你可以試著用這種方法去彎你的木板

採漸進式慢慢地將木板彎曲--如果你要求很好的彎度的話
這種事情急不來的

爆漿撒尿牛丸:

Thank you for your information. I will use this way for next model. It is very difficult to bent the basswood without water. I tried, but I failed. Finally, I decided that I cut my passwoods first and put them in warm water. When the basswood absorbed the water, I bented and used tape to fix the curve. Then, put these woods on top of the heater. Actuallyt, some wall does not curve nice, but I am satisfied. [:yayaya02] This is very diificult to bilud a model that has small curve walls. I must be very patient to do this job...

Yes. I am a WAZU (WSU) student. (:f02:) Me, too. I like Pullman although it is a small town. Now, the weather is cold, but you can see nice views of landscape. When the hills are covered by snow, this view is very beautiful.

Thank you for your offering. My class is just a beginning class, so most of my models are small size. My TA also told me that the purpose of this class is to practice our crafting skill. Actually, the requirement of last project was not basswood, but I wanted to try how to use basswood to build my model. One pf my class used sponge to build the mode, and the model looks cool. :D
