---
the historic moore building - originally built as a furniture
showroom in 1921 - provides an opportunity to create an
installation that can be viewed at myriad angles from four
different levels.
the gravity-defying sculptural installation of the architect
zaha hadid engaged the building's formal qualities with
graceful tension. the zig-zagging material melted in with the
same-coloured corinthian columns of the building’s atrium.
---
zaha hadid’s installation was in the main venue of
‘design.05 miami’ - a centerpiece in the middle of gallery
spaces where post-war-to-contemporary furniture
galleries brought together the best collectors, connoisseurs,
and designers.
several dozen galleries of contemporary and modern
design set up shows at the participating dealers include:
antik (new york), demisch danant (new york and paris),
casati gallery (chicago), contrasts (shanghai), barry
friedman ltd. (new york), david gill gallery (london), cristina
