Senior Urban Designer
Responsibilities:
• Plays a key role in projects as a lead designer
• Ability to cultivate a collaborative design environment and to inspire other designers to be creative and innovative.
• Leads projects that are medium to large in size: ensuring key deadlines are met and that the project stays on schedule, and design team is working together effectively.
• Develops design plans in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope. Develops innovative solutions to problems that effectively address the social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form.
• Provide project or task management to develop urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard urban design techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications on projects.
• Plays a key role in client management and client satisfaction.
• Leads marketing efforts to current clients and is instrumental in identifying and attracting new clients.

Requirements:
• Min.5-8 years’ post-graduate experience as an Urban Designer with large-scale masterplanning experience, preferably 5 years of experience working on projects in Asia.
• Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or related disciplines.
• Strong portfolio of built work which demonstrates excellent design capabilities.
• Experience working on large-scale international projects.
• Record of successfully managing small teams and proven design leadership skills.
• Excellent design, visualization, graphic and 3D skills.
• Expertise in Adobe Design Collection, and AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin required.

Mid-Level Urban Designer
Responsibilities:
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard urban design techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications on projects.
• Provide project or task management to develop urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images.
• Develop solutions that effectively address the social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form; modify and/or review drawings, construction documentation and detailing.
• Confer with clients regarding design schemes and implementation.
• Coordinate and consult with federal, state and local regulatory agencies on scope and impact of project when necessary.
• Assist clients with public hearings or meetings and manages public outreach activities.
• Manage, prepare, correct and update documents;
• Manage scopes, schedules and budgets;
• Prepare for and participate in proposal interviews in addition to agency and client coordination and relations.
• Develop innovative solutions to problems.
• Assist in marketing efforts to current clientele and to identify and attract new clientele.

Junior Urban Designer
Responsibilities:
• Complete drafting assignments.
• Conduct research and analysis as needed for a project.
• Compile data, perform design computations, and prepare plans and renderings.
• Assist in the preparation of production of models, marketing material, and presentation packages for public/private review.
• Assist project manager or senior level staff in developing a design strategy.
• Attend meetings both inside and outside the firm pertaining to existing and potential projects.
• Provide additional support to ensure smooth execution of projects.
