倫敦蛇形藝廊展亭2002 Serpentine Gallery Pavilion／Toyo Ito伊東豊雄
2002年夏天，日本建築師 Toyo Ito(伊東豊雄)為英國倫敦的蛇形藝廊(Serpentine Gallery)設計了一座臨時建築 Serpentine Gallery Pavilion，結構設計請到 Arup 的結構大師 Cecil Balmond。
基地位於倫敦肯辛頓公園(Kensington Garden)內的蛇形藝廊(Serpentine Gallery)前院，一棟僅為期夏天三個月的臨時性展示館，白天作為咖啡館，傍晚以後則是舉辦演講、討論會、宴會等活動的建築。整個建築體就像是一個四方形的盒子，長寬18m × 18m、高4.5m，沒有柱子，以鋼板條(Steel Flat Bar)組合而成的框架所構成，看似隨機組合的框架，其實是根據將正方形一邊迴轉一邊擴大的演算法(Algorithm)規則，所形成的螺旋狀圖案，建築各部位彼此相互依存，並保持整體的平衡，展示館於三個月後拆除、出售，目前被重建於倫敦的泰晤士河畔。
