2009年Red dot awards design concept，台灣共有23件作品獲獎，在全球得獎作品中台灣佔了一成左右。
紅點設計概念獎是觀察設計未來趨勢的重要指標，這些產品是不會受到商業上的限制，而是設計師們對於社會生活現狀，所提出的解決方式。由於企業害怕風險，或是無法評定新概念，概念獎提供了一個平台與機會，讓設計師專心進行解決問題，而在 red dot 獲獎的作品，較能說服企業願意投入資源，開發產品，讓好的理念能開花結果。
BLOX-HOUSE 快速建築
由 BLOX-HOUSE CO.,LTD 所提出之「BLOX-HOUSE」是一種空間可以展開並且相互結合的房子；2天可以建成卻可使用超過20年，而且可以隨著生活方式的改變，重新組合房子。他的優點在於適應各種基地環境與使用需求，搭配相關的設備部件，組合成最佳化的商業型、住宅型空間使用，指需要傳統建築遠低於1/3以下的價格。

BLOX-HOUSE is a prefabricated modular building with a flexible system that allows multiple assembly options.
The BLOX-HOUSE 「Open Box & Block of House」 system is a flexible house-building system. It takes only two days to build, but can be used for more than twenty years. The house can be transformed and reconstituted for any type of lifestyle. The structure could be built to adapt to any environmental need and act as the best kind of commercial or residential space for a particular locality. The cost of building is one-third of that for a traditional building.
The construction uses automobile technology. The filling materials are highly insulating and have the ability to keep the interior warm. The surface is painted with an anti-soil nanoparticle coating, which will prevent soiling as well as UV damage. Three sizes are available.
This is a green building that is low in price, simple, smart, and has the flexibility to be reassembled in various ways. It also offers a fresh style and a comfortable interior space. It can be used for many purposes beyond commercial or residential space; it could also serve as a school in a remote area, a research station, a medical treatment tent, a unit in a refugee camp, and so on.
This system offers advantages including:
1. The modular production system allows low-cost mass production.
2. Once it reaches its destination (via ship or air), the separate units can be 「opened」 or pulled apart to enlarge the usable floor area.
3. It is constituted of separate pieces of equipment.
4. With the addition of support facilities, it meets all living needs.
5. It has all the characteristics of a 「green」 building – it saves energy, it is environmentally friendly, and it can be recycled.
