北部流行音樂中心整體概念

01 NETWORK MIXER

TPMC 是連結並融和南港區域的MIXER(MIXINGEQUIPMENT)。

本案基地位置位於東西的2 個捷運站、2 個新興開發地區、既有的住宅區等的中心，TPMC 的計劃應是要因應人車動線、綠帶網路等的整合，把這些地區作出有機的結合與一體化。

02 ACTIVITY MIXER

TPMC 是把多樣的、非常有活力的流行音樂活動作統合及管理的MIXER.

在TPMC 進行創作發表、因參加演唱會而興奮、演奏、學習並深入理解、享受餐飲與音樂、親近自然等，是很豐富多元的複合行為。因此TPMC 需扮演編織這些多樣活動及統合不同機能的MIXING 裝置。

03 AUDIO-VISUAL MIXER

TPMC 是發出Audio & Visual 訊號的MIXER。

TPMC 把聲音、影像、建築、景觀等作Mix，是虛幻與真實的空間交疊所形成的二十一世紀都市空間之先驅。因此TPMC 的各空間之多媒體設備環境，因光纖網路而相互連接，構築成高度靈活的訊息網絡。利用這樣的網絡，TPMC 把Audio &Visual 的相關資源作多彩的Mix，透過多樣化的輸出裝置向城市發聲。

04 ECOLOGY MIXER

TPMC 是具生態環保概念的建築，是把自然資源融入建築內部的MIXER(MIXING EQUIPMENT)。
基地面積廣大有機會將自然環境融入設計，因此TPMC 有效的將把綠樹、水、風、太陽能等因素加以運用、MIXING，成為21 世紀的環保並永續經營的建築範本。

TPMC OVERALL DESIGN CONCEPT

01 NETWORK MIXER

TPMC is a MIXER that connects and merges contextual networks within the Nangang district.
The project's site is located between two frequently used railway stations, East and West, within close proximity of two new developments and at the heart of an existing residential area. TPMC seamlessly connects these developments with the pedestrian, vehicular and green network into one complete whole.

02 ACTIVITY MIXER

TPMC is a MIXER that unites and controls dynamic pop music activities.

TPMC is a complex system of diverse and multifaceted activities. For instance to demonstrate one's own music creation, appreciate pop concerts with excitement, to perform and acquire knowledge of music, enjoy their meals and be close to nature while listening to live music, etc. TPMC acknowledges the diversity, through simple spatial program allocation it intends to remix and recompile these activities within one premise.

03 AUDIO-VISUAL MIXER

TPMC is a mixer of Audio and Visual signals.

TPMC creates a mixture of sound, image and landscape with architecture, overlapping real and virtual space to create a pioneer metropolitan space of the 21st Century. To achieve this we interconnect all multimedia support systems within program spaces through optic fibre technology, forming a highly flexible information network. Through this information matrix TPMC will be able to create variations of audiovisual remixes, conveying to the city and its citizens new sounds and experiences via diverse output systems.

04 ECOLOGY MIXER

TPMC is a MIXER of environmental elements.

TPMC effectively extracts, mixes and redirects essential environmental elements into and through the building, creating a comfortable environment within the envelope. TPMC therefore aims to be a model of sustainable architecture for the 21st Century.
