Gensler is starting a new program and is looking to hire new\/recent graduates with Master’s degrees in design fields such as architecture, interior design, environmental design, urban planning\/design, or design strategy. Multiple degrees in diverse, yet interrelated fields including real estate, business, anthropology, organizational development, or organizational psychology are a plus.<\/p>\n

Who We’re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’re looking for ambitious candidates with a design background who are passionate about tackling tough problems through unconventional insights into people, processes and the places where they collide. We seek graduates who inspire the people around them, who bring a fresh perspective and who can work collaboratively.<\/p>\n

Ideal candidates possess a background in designing for the built environment and have demonstrated exceptional leadership from past academic or professional achievements. Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills are critical. Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously is a must. Candidates should be self-starters, quick-learners and have an entrepreneurial spirit.<\/p>\n

Successful candidates will possess:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2027An undergraduate or Master’s degree in design fields such as architecture, interior design, environmental design, urban planning\/design, or design strategy. Multiple degrees in diverse, yet interrelated fields including real estate, business, anthropology, organizational development, or organizational psychology are a plus.
\n\u2027Some experience related to your field of study; your experience may include relevant internships and\/or co-op experience.
\n\u2027Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\u2027Strong graphic and persuasive writing skills.
\n\u2027Familiarity with research methodologies and processes.
\n\u2027A high degree of flexibility along with time management and organizational skills.<\/p>\n

Technical skills required:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2027Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)
\n\u2027Basic skills in Revit<\/a> and\/or AutoCAD
\n\u2027Skills in Sketch-Up and other 3D and multi-media technologies are a plus<\/p>\n

Critical considerations prior to applying:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2027You should be willing to relocate from your selected host office at the conclusion of the two-year DSD Program.
\n\u2027You must be legally able to work in the country of your host office. We cannot accept candidates requiring current or future sponsorship (e.g. H-1B visa status).<\/p>\n
