準建築人手札網站收到一封來自 Populous 建築設計和總體規劃顧問公司的信件，主要內容在於澄清之前媒體報導關於「游邑建築師主導設計了倫敦奧運場館」都是錯誤的；雖然信件中所描述的名字是「遊邑」，但其指涉的文章內是「游邑」，猜想是該公司的中文在繁體與簡體之間無法分辨清楚，因此才出現此一問題。

I am writing from Populous (formerly HOK sport architecture), the architecture firm responsible for these designs and a sponsor of the London 2012 Olympics, to inform you that any published articles crediting I Yu for these projects are incorrect.

I Yu has falsely claimed to Chinese and Taiwanese media that he played a major role in the
design of various venues, including the London 2012 Olympic Stadium, Oval Cricket Ground
(UK), Soccer City Stadium (Johannesburg, South Africa) and Dubai Autodrome.
遊邑在臺灣和中國大陸的媒體報導中謊稱他主導了我公司的很多設計專案，包括倫敦2012年奧運會場館，皇家橢圓板球場，南非世界盃足球場，迪拜F1 賽車場等，這些都是不符合事實的。
We would like to ask for your cooperation by removing any online articles/broadcasts that include any of the false claims listed below and ask that a correction note is published, to state that Populous (formerly HOK sport architecture) was responsible for the design of the venues in question.

False claims to be corrected下列不實資訊需要更正
• CLAIM: I Yu was promoted to Senior Architect during his time at HOK sport architecture
CORRECTION: I Yu was employed in the position of Architectural Assistant at HOK sport
architecture during his time at the firm between 2002 and 2007. At no point was he a Lead
Designer or leading a design team.
• 謊稱：遊邑被HOK 體育建築公司提拔為資深建築師（資深設計師）
更正：遊邑在2002 年至2007 年間被公司雇傭，他的職位是建築師助理，游邑從來沒
有擔任過主導設計師，也從未帶領過任何設計團隊。
• CLAIM: I Yu was the Lead Designer/Architect of the London 2012 Olympic bid, London
Olympic Stadium and the Olympic Park masterplan (Stratford Urban Regeneration).
CORRECTION: I Yu was an Architectural Assistant within a large team working on these
projects at HOK sport architecture. Populous (formerly HOK sport architecture) should be
credited as responsible for these projects.
• 謊稱：遊邑主導倫敦2012 年奧運會申辦設計，倫敦奧運會主體育場和倫敦奧林匹克公園總體規劃（施特拉福都市更新規劃）
更正：遊邑是在上述專案中大型工作團隊中的一員，職位是建築師助理，Populous公司（原HOK 體育建築設計公司）應該是負責這些項目設計的主導。
• CLAIM: I Yu was the Lead Designer and responsible for the design concept for the
following venues: Soccer City Stadium (Johannesburg, South Africa), Oval Cricket Ground (UK),Dubai Autodrome (F1 circuit)
CORRECTION: These projects should be credited to Populous (formerly HOK sport
architecture). I Yu was not the Lead Designer/Architect for these projects.
• 謊稱：遊邑主導下列專案的設計概念：南非世界盃足球場（南非約翰尼斯堡），皇家橢圓板球場（英國），迪拜F1 賽車場

Further claims include that I Yu was presented with RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) awards, which again is incorrect.
